Today I am grateful for:

-The Tiny Funny Women Fest. There was a panel today called, "Coping with Comedy: How laughter gets us through the darkest times." I really loved this panel. People opened up about their experience with quitting their job, to being a victim of a hit and run accident, to being a survivor of assault, to going through chemo. It was a really wonderful panel that was so smart and supportive. I am beyond grateful to be a part of a community that supports one another so much. There was one thing that one of the panelist said that really resonated with me. She was talking about this woman who was learning how to deep sea dive. Her instructor told this woman that once she was in the water she could turn on her oxygen mask. However, it takes a few seconds before the oxygen starts to flow. A lot of people at that point start to get nervous, but her instructor said, "Don't panic, because the oxygen will come." I found that to be a beautiful image. In times of struggle, don't panic. The oxygen will come.
